Ellis Hurt has been named the 2021 All-County Player of the Year by the Cheatham County Exchange. Hurt compiled a 4-3 record on the mound while pitching 55 innings and striking out 57 batters over that time. Hurt’s 3.69 earned run average helped lead Harpeth to a regional semifinal. Hurt also did damage at the plate finishing with a .333 batting average and hitting two home runs with 14 RBI to go along with 34 runs scored and 14 stolen bases.
