KINGSTON SPRINGS – The Creek Wood Lady Red Hawks basketball team routed Harpeth 48-26 on Tuesday, Nov. 26.

Creek Wood led throughout the game, but Harpeth stayed within striking distance until the third quarter. Creek Wood used a strong second half to close out the victory.

Creek Wood led 13-10 at the end of the first quarter and then continued to hold the a 21-17 at halftime.

The third quarter was when the tide turned, and Creek Wood’s offense and defense began to take over.

The Lady Red Hawks scored 15 points in the third quarter and held Harpeth to only five points to push the lead to 36-22. They finished off the Lady Indians in the final quarter to win 48-26.

Harpeth continues to show signs of improvement, although they haven’t won yet.

Creek Wood continues to dominate in Cheatham County. The Red Hawks already have wins over Sycamore, Cheatham County Central and Harpeth.
