Harpeth catcher Blake Provo gives a sign for the next pitch.

KINGSTON SPRINGSBrandon Collins and Michael Bruck collected the only hits of the game for Harpeth as the Indians lost 14-0 to Creek Wood.

Collins, Ellie Hurt, Michael Bracken and Dawson Capps all pitched for Harpeth.

“Not a good week of baseball,” Harpeth coach Ben Howell said. “Really it was just mistakes, making errors in the field, walks, and then not bringing in guys that are in scoring position.”

Howell said he was already looking forward to the next week of games.

“Next week, we’re going to come back, flush this week and come back,” Howell said. “Next week we will get some guys back from vacation and other spring break stuff and we will be able to compete with White House.”

Howell said that getting some varsity playing time for some younger pitchers was good for the team.

“We threw quite a few extra arms this week that haven’t thrown much so they were able to get some varsity time,” Howell said. “That’s only going to make us stronger in the end.”
