Harpeth finishes runner-up in District 10-A tournament

Harpeth fell to Hickman County last week in the District 10-A Volleyball tournament in straight sets by scores of 25-17, 25-21 and 25-18.

With the district title game appearance, Harpeth will advance on to the region tournament.

The tournament was held at Santa Fe and Harpeth easily dispatched of East Hickman in the semifinal match.

Hickman County, though, had been a thorn in Harpeth’s side all year as the Lady Indians only two district losses all year came at the hands of Hickman County.

Harpeth and Hickman County will move on to the region tournament that will take place Tuesday, October 12 that will be hosted by either Jo Byrns or Camden.

It was also awards night and the Harpeth lady Indians were well-represented in addition to being the District 10-A Regular Season and Tournament Runner up, they had All-District Cara Stuart and Hayden Knall and All-Tournament Cali Copeland and Harper Tolle.
