GREENBRIER — Dani Wix scored 15 points as Harpeth lost on Thursday to White House-Heritage 40-20 in the district tournament.

The Lady Indians finished the season 3-23.

“Everybody gets fixated on wins and losses, and obviously we’re here to win but as far as that goes it wasn’t the best but there was a lot of growth and development this year,” Harpeth coach Jimmy Mitchell said. “This is a great bunch of kids, they’re great students, they’re good people and I’m blessed to be able to coach them.”

Harpeth has three seniors — Wix, Leigha Adams and Rachel Adams.

“We had a lot of opportunities for younger players and they played well,” Mitchell said. “It’s just a case of making sure they continue to do the right things; working hard and getting better.”
