Harpeth traveled to Nashville Christian last weekend and took on the Eagles.

Nashville Christian, who has been playing well on both the boys’ and girls’ teams, took the sweep over Harpeth with a 64-37 win in the girls’ game and a 66-59 win in double overtime in the boys’ game.

At the time, Nashville Christian’s girls team was 11-1 and on a hot streak before playing Harpeth.

That would continue against the Lady Indians. Whitley Miller scored 20 points in the game and helped Nashville Christian out to a 14-4 lead at the end of the first quarter.

The second quarter saw Harpeth get to the basket a little easier but Nashville Christian still pulled away taking a 34-17 lead into the half. The Lady Eagles would go on to put away Harpeth easily with a 64-37 win.

The boys’ game was one to remember as Harpeth’s Aiden Williams scored 21 points helping Harpeth take a 17-14 lead at the end of the first quarter and a 32-23 lead at half. Nashville Christian would not only erase that nine-point lead but take a nine-point lead themselves with under six minutes to play.
