PLEASANT VIEW – Anna Knack signed a letter of intent to play volleyball for Martin Methodist.
Knack is the second Sycamore volleyball player to sign. Ellie Frye signed with Cumberland in December.
“I’m very excited to do this and go on the next level,” Knack said. “I chose Martin Methodist because they inspired me and I really like the coach (Allison Williams) and I enjoyed the atmosphere; the atmosphere of the school and the gym.”
Martin Methodist had its most successful season in Williams’ five years there last season, finishing at 22-12 season.
“Her passion for the game and her willingness to learn are a huge deal to me,” Williams said. “She came in and tried out and she took little things I said to her and tried to implement them immediately. Having her ability to play as a setter and having her on the bench for depth will really help our team.”
