Dylan Berry pitched seven shutout innings, allowing only two hits and striking out seven batters to hold off Camden Central in a 9-0 Creek Wood victory.
Peyton Allen and Hunter Plaster each hit a triple, and Plaster, Mitch Duke, Will Secker and Zach Bone each hit a double. Peyton Allen and Blaine Allen each had three RBIs. Bone had two RBIs and Duke had another RBI.
Creek Wood 4, Camden Central 1
Will Secker pitched a complete game, allowing only one run on three Camden Central hits while striking out six batters. Secker also had a double.
Peyton Allen knocked in two runs, and Sam Batey and Hunter Plaster plated the other two runs.
Dickson County 4, Centennial 3
Jett Jackson came up big in the final inning with a walk-off single to score the winning run for Dickson County. Luke Russell knocked in two runs for the Cougars and Matt Roberts added the other RBI.
Avery Gunn pitched a complete game with eight strikeouts while allowing only one earned run on six hits.
Dickson County 8, Centennial 3 (8 innings)
Jett Jackson struck out 11 batters in six innings, allowing only six hits and two earned runs. Jacob England pitched the last two innings. The Cougars exploded for five runs in the top of the eighth inning to win.
Tucker Berry knocked in two runs for Dickson County. Chase Hoover and Colton Thompson added an RBI each.
Independence 3, Dickson County 2
Tucker Berry started the game on the mound but couldn’t get through the third inning so Sam Adams came in and finished the game for Dickson County, allowing only one hit in four innings.
Jett Jackson added a triple and Chase Hoover and Clinton Schrader knocked in the two runs for Dickson County.
