Brianna Burgess has been named the Player of the Year by the Dickson Post for the All-County Dickson basketball team. Brianna averaged 16.3 points per game last season along with 4.3 assists per game. She made 72 three-pointers over the course of the season. Burgess helped Creek Wood reach the quarterfinals of the TSSAA State Tournament for the first time since 2014. She also scored her 1,000th career point during the playoffs and has two more seasons to continue racing toward Creek Wood’s all-time leading scorer; Rachel Bell.
