Station Camp 47, Wilson Central 39

GLADEVILLE — Wilson Central shot a cool 26 percent from the field while Station Camp scored 21 points at the free throw line Friday in a 47-36 Lady Bison victory.

With the win, Station Camp moved to 17-7 overall and 8-4 in District 9-AAA while the Lady Wildcats slid to 14-9 on the season and 5-7 in the district.

A slow moving game that found the score tied at 2-all after one period, Station camp pushed ahead 17-12 at intermission and 31-23 headed into the fourth quarter.

Sydnee Richetto swished four 3-pointers and led Wilson Central with 16 points while Nicole Brille added 12.

Jasmin Angel and Sydney Dalton had four points each and Aubree Starnes went 1-of-7 from beyond the arc for three points.

As a team, Wilson Central went 14-of-52 from the field (26 percent) and 5-of-24 on 3-pointers (20 percent).

Station Camp knocked down 11-of-32 from the field (34 percent) and 21-of-27 at the line (77 percent).

Wilson Central is scheduled to host Portland Tuesday, Feb. 5 while Station Camp will host Mt. Juliet.

Lebanon 68, Gallatin 37

GALLATIN — Lebanon High won for the fourth consecutive outing Friday, downing District 9-AAA rival Gallatin 68-37 at Jerry Vradenburg Gymnasium.

“It was ugly in the early going,” said LHS coach Cory Barrett, “but we got it done. We played much better as the game went along.”

The Lady Green Wave led 10-9 after one quarter, but Lebanon moved ahead 28-18 at intermission and 44-30 headed into the fourth quarter.

Junior Allissa Mulaski sank three 3-points and paced the Devilettes with 17 points.

Point guard Addie Grace Porter finished with 13 points and Anne Marie Heidebreicht swished three 3-pointers on the way to 11.

Jakeshia James added nine, Christianey Brookshire had six while Natalie Danko, Jyanna Stewart, Meioshe Mason, Avery Harris, Lindsey freeman and Rebecca Brown had two points apiece.

McKayla Wright nailed three 3-pointers and led Gallatin with 13 points.

LHS will host district-leading Beech High Tuesday, Feb. 5 at 6:30 p.m. while Gallatin (14-11 / 3-9 district) plays at Hendersonville High.

Mt. Juliet 62, Hendersonville 31

HENDERSONVILLE — Junior post Emma Palmer’s double-double helped lead Mt. Juliet to a 62-31 win at District 9-AAA opponent Hendersonville Friday.

Palmer poured in 24 points and yanked down 13 rebounds as the Lady Bears improved to 20-4 overall and 10-2 in District 9-AAA play.

Mt. Juliet led 17-7 after one quarter and 29-19 at intermission before putting the game on ice with a 21-2 third quarter run.

Ninth grader Reghan Grimes had 12 points and Tondriannha Davis canned three 3-pointers and chipped in with 11. Nevaeh Majors had nine points and Halle Jones six.

The Lady Bears will be back in action Tuesday, Feb. 5 at Station Camp.

Hendersonville (9-16 / 2-10) will host rival Gallatin Tuesday.

Watertown 63, Livingston Academy 57

LIVINGSTON — Watertown’s Saranda Woodson poured in 24 points Friday night to lead Watertown to a 63-47 road win at District 8-AA rival Livingston Academy.

The victory snapped a seven-game Watertown losing streak and moved the Lady Tigers to 8-17 on the season / 2-10 in the district.

Watertown led 17-15 after one period, 33-25 at intermission and 47-39 going into the fourth quarter.

Brittni Allison had 16 points, Ashlea Dickens 15 and Emma Christensen eight point for WHS.

Watertown is scheduled to host Smith County High Tuesday, Feb. 5 at 6 p.m.

Davidson Academy 57, Friendship 43

NASHVILLE — Davidson Academy placed three in double figures in Friday’s 57-43 home win over Friendship Christian in Division II District 4-A action.

With the loss, the Lady Commanders dropped to 10-14 overall (6-7) and into a tie with Nashville Christian School for fourth place in Division II District 4-A.

A Saturday coin flip gave NCS fourth place and will send Friendship Christian on the road Tuesday, Feb. 4 for a 6 p.m. loser-out game vs. Nashville Christian.

Davidson Academy was led by Gracie Wimsatt with 16 points, Charlton Kelley with 14 and Grace Allison with 13.

Rachel Pippin led the way for FCS with 22 points. Autumn Groves added 16, Anna Taylor six and Bayley West two.

Clarksville Academy 69, MJ Christian 28

MT. JULIET — Clarksville Academy rolled to a 69-28 home win over Division II District 4-A rival Mt. Juliet Christian Academy Friday night.

With the loss, the Lady Commanders slid to 6-19 overall and 0-13 in the district.

Clarksville Academy improved to 23-3 with the win / 12-2 in the district.

ON THURSDAY, JAN 31 — The MJCA Lady Saints dropped a 67-43 loss at Nashville Christian School.

Amelia Lyons paced MJ Christian with 17 points, Felicity Keen had 11 and Megan Blackwell six.
