East Robertson split a pair of games with Houston County last week to close out the District 9-A season.
The Indians lost the first game on Monday, 5-1. Houston County scored four runs in the fifth inning to take control of the game.
Bryce Smith and Peyton Smith had two hits apiece for East. Don Conaster singled home Bryce Smith in the seventh inning for the only run for the Indians.
Van True took the loss for East pitching five innings and giving up four earned runs.
East bounced back the next day to crush Houston County, 13-0.
Peyton Smith tossed a two-hitter and had 10 strikeouts in the five-inning game shortened by the mercy rule.
Smith helped himself by hitting a three-run home run in the first inning that also scored Colton Harrison and Bryce Smith.
Harrison and Conaster had three hits apiece, Bryce Smith, Peyton Smith and Alex Patterson had two each while Daltyn Hammonds and Isaiah Hobdy both had one hit.
East finished the district season 4-2 and will enter the district tournament as the number two seed behind Jo Byrns. The tournament starts May 6 and will be played at McEwen High School.
This week, East will play at Harpeth on Tuesday, at Franklin-Simpson (KY) on Wednesday and at Stratford on Saturday and host Portland on Friday.
