Ring ceremony for 2020 Devilettes –

The Lebanon High fan base finally got an opportunity to salute their Devilettes.

Lebanon’s District 9AAA and Region 5AAA champion basketball team received state tournament rings during the soggy halftime of Friday’s Lebanon v. Gallatin football game at Tribble Field / Watkins Stadium.

The rings were presented to the team after having reached the semifinals of the 2020 Class 3A BlueCross Championships.

The tournament was eventually terminated due to COVID-19 concerns.

LHS finished the 2019-2020 season 31-6, closing on a 14-game win streak and having defeated defending state champion Bradley Central in the quarterfinal round at MTSU’s Murphy Center.

Ring sponsors included: John McDearman and Scott Jasper of Wilson Bank & Trust, Brian Patterson of Charlie’s Tires, Tim Bennett Insurance, Jay White of Agee & Johnson, Lebanon mayoral candidate Rick Bell, Beau Massengille of J.M. Insurance Agency, Kenny & Kellie Sallis of Keller Williams Realty, Wilson County Mayor Randall Hutto and the family of the late Kate Arnold, a devoted fan of the Devilettes.
