Two days of basketball at LHS -

LEBANON - Basketball junkies, your time has arrived.

With high school football having wrapped up last Friday and the "Black Friday" shopping frenzy upon us, fans of prep basketball can rejoice.

The two-day John Greer State Farm Thanksgiving Classic opens Friday.

Some 18 games are on tap over two days and two floors at Lebanon High's Campbell Brandon Gymnasium with 12 of those contests featuring teams from Wilson County.

Here's the REVISED schedule for Friday, Nov. 27 in the main gym:

10:30 am Green Hill v. Upperman girls;

12 pm Oakland v. Page girls;

1:30 pm Brentwood v. Mt. Juliet boys;

3 pm Westmoreland v. Loretto girls;

4:30 pm Independence v. Wilson Central boys;

6 pm Lebanon v. Dickson County girls;

7:30 pm Lebanon v. Chattanooga Brainerd boys.

Two games are planned Friday in the auxiliary gym, including:

1:30 pm Independence v. Mt. Juliet girls;

3 pm Dyersburg v. Franklin County boys.

Nine more games are on tap Saturday, including:

10:30 am Mt. Juliet v. Independence boys;

12 pm Upperman v. Independence girls;

1:30 pm Wilson Central v. Dyersburg boys;

3 pm Oakland v. Westmoreland girls;

4:30 pm Loretto v. Green Hill girls;

6 pm Lebanon v. Page girls;

7:30 pm Lebanon v. Franklin County boys.

Two games are scheduled Saturday for the auxiliary gym, including:

12 pm Chattanooga Brainerd v. Brentwood boys;

1:30 pm Dickson County v. Mt. Juliet boys.

Tickets will be available for $7 each through with a limited number being made available at the door each day.
